Count down  to PDP senatorial primaries in Cross River, Clergy, others commend Ntufam Joe Edet to delegates

One of the senatorial aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Cross River State has received  commendations from various groups and individuals who have all attested to his personality and track record over the years. 
The most recent of the commendations came from a clergy,  Rev. Father Dr. Evaristus Bassey Former Executive Secretary, Catholic Caritas.
In a message  made available to newsmen ahead of the senatorial primaries which comes up next week, Rev. Father Bassey said Ntufam Joe Edet  will no doubt  be a good  representation for the Southern senatorial district of the state  in the Senate. 
He noted that Ntufam Joe Edet had been recognized and honored by his community with the traditional title of Ntufam Onor Mfam because of his community building initiatives and he has sponsored many young couples getting married and has been  a promoter of family values.
In terms of relevant experience he recalled that Ntufam Edet had served a Speaker of the State House of Assembly  as Chief of Staff and also served Governor Liyel Imoke as Deputy Chief of Staff.
He further recalled that Ntufam Edet served three governors successively as Special Adviser and in recent time took up teaching in the Law Faculty of Arthur Jarvis University pro-bono as a constitutional lawyer. He will do well as a Senator of the Federal Republic, the clergy attested.
A party member, Dc Enamhe also attested to  Ntufam Joe Edet personality and  track record  noting that “he made a huge difference in the State assembly as Special Adviser Assembly Matters and the system felt your ingenuity”.
Adding, “as Deputy Chief of Staff, you were a stabilizer in governor’s office and managed Government to the admiration of your principal that he gave you responsibilities. Even with your tight schedule you still wrote your book and attracted the entire nation to its lunch including former heads of governments. You raised the bar in Abuja as Special Adviser intergovernmental affairs.”
